The World Championships

The entire world of hip-hop dance is com­ing to Las Vegas for the World Hip Hop Dance Championship and World Battles. Over 2500 hip hop/street dan­cers, bboys, lock­ers, pop­pers and more will serve up their sick­est moves and crew cho­reo­graphy to cap­ture the sought after world titles and brag­ging rights.

Hip Hop International is excited to inform you of the fol­low­ing new devel­op­ments in the World Hip Hop Dance Championship:

WORLD HIP HOP DANCE CHAMPIONSHIP
Itʼs an event com­mem­or­at­ing the first ten years of Hip Hop International and
cel­eb­rat­ing the tenth World Hip Hop Dance Championship. Over two thou­sand of the world’s top street dan­cers will come together in Las Vegas for the World Hip Hop Dance Championship an event true to the real val­ues of hip hop culture.

Crews from more than 35 nations will com­pete to cap­ture the world title and inter­na­tional
brag­ging rights while hip hop icons, artists and celebrit­ies will be there too for all the
fun and excitement.

In con­junc­tion with the World Hip Hop Dance Championship are the World Battles -
Breaking, Popping, Locking and All Styles – (see World Battle info). The World Battles are state of the art com­pet­i­tions for the world’s top bboys/bgirls, lock­ers, pop­pers and all stylers who will rep­res­ent their coun­tries for prizes and world dominance.

The six-day event sched­ule includes panel dis­cus­sions fea­tur­ing respec­ted liv­ing
legends and icons of hip hop dance, the Chill Down Lounge for dan­cing after the
even­ing com­pet­i­tions have con­cluded, the present­a­tion of the Living Legend of Hip
Hop Award and the Urban Moves dance work­shops presen­ted by the most cel­eb­rated
hip hop dan­cers and cho­reo­graph­ers. Above all, street­dan­cers meet oth­ers from
around the world who are equally pas­sion­ate about hip hop cul­ture and dance.

Official Rules for Hip Hop Dance Championships and Battles

The World Hip Hop Dance Championship and World Battles will be con­duc­ted under
the offi­cial rules and reg­u­la­tions of Hip Hop International – see rules and reg­u­la­tions.
National qual­i­fic­a­tions within each coun­try are con­duc­ted annu­ally to determ­ine who
par­ti­cip­ates in the World Hip Hop Dance Championship and World Battles. Dance
crews, Bboys, Poppers, Lockers and All Stylers from coun­tries with no qual­i­fy­ing event
may con­tact Hip Hop International to request a spe­cial invit­a­tion to participate.
