The World Championships
The entire world of hip-hop dance is coming to Las Vegas July 27-August 1 for the 2010 World Hip Hop Dance Championship and World Battles. Over 1700 hip hop/street dancers, bboys, lockers, poppers and more will serve up their sickest moves and crew choreography to capture the sought after world titles and bragging rights.
Hip Hop International is excited to inform you of the following new developments in the World Hip Hop Dance Championship:
1. Beginning with the 2010 World Hip Hop Dance Championship prize money has been established for the 1st place street dance crews totaling $10,000. World Battle prize money is $5000.
2. A semifinal round has been added to the 2010 World Hip Hop Dance Championship schedule that will provide many crews with an additional chance to perform and impress the judges.
The six-days of events include panel discussions with respected living legends and icons of hip hop dance, a funk styles room for traditional old school dancers, and the Urban Moves dance workshops presented by the most celebrated hip hop dancers and choreographers.
Above all, crews will meet others from around the world who are equally passionate about hip hop culture and dance.
