idance® presents The UK Hip Hop Championships 2012, the ONLY com­pet­i­tion to qual­ify UK dan­cers for the World Championships in Las Vegas. The UK Hip Hop Dance Championships take place March 24, 2012 at the Colosseum, Watford.

New for 2012:

  • £1000 prize for top Junior Crew (7−12 years old)
  • £1000 prize for top Varsity Crew (13−17 years old)
  • £1000 prize for top Adult Crew (18+)
  • Enhanced MegaCrews 15 — 40 dan­cers of any age division

idance® presents The UK Hip Hop Championships 2012, the ONLY com­pet­i­tion to qual­ify UK dan­cers for the World Championships in Las Vegas, pro­duced by Hip Hop International, the team behind America’s Best Dance Crew.

The UK Hip Hop Dance Championships takes place March 24, 2012 is a live event show­cas­ing the most tech­nical and impress­ive dan­cers from all areas of the United Kingdom in a breath­tak­ing face-off to see who will have the hon­our of rep­res­ent­ing the United Kingdom at the World Hip Hop Championships in Las Vegas.

Crews (between 5 and 8 mem­bers):
Junior crews (8-12yrs)

Open Crews (begin­ners and 1st timers 5–15 mem­bers)

WORLD HIP HOP DANCE CHAMPIONSHIP 2011 – THE 10TH ANNIVERSARY

Itʼs an event com­mem­or­at­ing the first ten years of Hip Hop International and cel­eb­rat­ing the tenth World Hip Hop Dance Championship. Over two thou­sand of the world’s top street dan­cers will come together in Las Vegas for the 2011 World Hip Hop Dance Championship July 26 – 31, an event true to the real val­ues of hip hop culture.

In addi­tion to Six Crews from the UK, crews from 35 nations will com­pete to cap­ture the world title and inter­na­tional brag­ging rights while hip hop icons, artists and celebrit­ies will be there too for all the fun and excite­ment. In con­junc­tion with the World Hip Hop Dance Championship are the World Battles — Breaking, Popping, Locking and All Styles — (see World Battle info) on Saturday, July 30. The World Battles are state of the art com­pet­i­tions for the world’s top bboys/bgirls, lock­ers, pop­pers and all stylers who will rep­res­ent their coun­tries for prizes and world dominance.

The six-day event sched­ule includes panel dis­cus­sions fea­tur­ing respec­ted liv­ing legends and icons of hip hop dance, the Chill Down Lounge for dan­cing after the even­ing com­pet­i­tions have con­cluded, the present­a­tion of the Living Legend of Hip Hop Award and the Urban Moves dance work­shops presen­ted by the most cel­eb­rated hip hop dan­cers and cho­reo­graph­ers. Above all, street­dan­cers meet oth­ers from around the world who are equally pas­sion­ate about hip hop cul­ture and dance. Participating coun­tries to date: Argentina, Australia, Bahamas, Belgium, Brazil,
